Social analytics

Ask Ashley how your accounts are really doing. Followers, reach, engagement, top posts, your best hour to post and your proven hashtags — all computed from your own posts, never from invented benchmarks.

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma, mostramos la versión en inglés.

Ask Ashley how your accounts are doing and she answers from your numbers — the posts you actually published, the hours they actually landed, the hashtags that actually earned likes. No industry averages. No borrowed benchmarks. No "studies show".

Analytics live in chat. You ask in plain language, you get the number, and you can act on it in the same conversation — a top-hashtag list becomes the hashtags on your next draft without you copying anything.

It's free

Every analytics tool costs 0 credits — stats, top posts, posting insights, best time, hashtag research. You only pay for the conversation itself, billed on real usage like any other chat.

What you can ask for

PlatformWhat you get
InstagramFollowers + change, total reach, impressions, profile visits, engagement rate, average likes and comments per post, number of recent posts
Facebook PageFollowers + change, total reach, impressions, page views, engagement rate, average likes and comments per post, number of recent posts
XFollowers + change, following, total posts, times listed
LinkedIn — Company PageOrganisation followers, impressions, clicks
LinkedIn — personal profileConnectivity only. LinkedIn's API exposes no analytics for personal profiles — see the limits below

How is my Instagram doing this month?

Compare my follower growth on Instagram and X over the last 30 days.

Top posts

Your best-performing posts, ranked — 5 at a time. Each one comes back with its date, caption, likes, reach, impressions and shares. Instagram adds the media type, real comment counts and saves.

Available for Instagram and Facebook only. X and LinkedIn don't expose per-post metrics through their APIs, and Ashley will tell you so rather than guess.

Show me my top 5 Instagram posts and tell me what they have in common.

Recent posts and a period summary

Your best posts inside a date window — 7 days by default, anywhere from 1 to 90 — with a rolled-up summary over them: post count, average likes, average reach, average comments, total engagement. It also tells you how many of those posts went out through Unyo.

Instagram and Facebook only, for the same API reason as above.

What did I post on Facebook in the last 14 days and how did it do?

Posting insights

The pattern behind the numbers, computed from a 24-hour × 7-day engagement map of your own posts. Instagram and Facebook only — X and LinkedIn don't expose the per-post timing data this needs:

  • Your top 5 hours — ranked by average engagement, with the post count behind each one so you can judge how much to trust it.
  • A 7-day breakdown — which days actually work for you.
  • Which content types perform — with average likes and comments per type.
  • Your top 10 hashtags — ranked by average likes.

Best time to post

A best hour and a best day, straight from that engagement map — for Instagram and Facebook, the two platforms that expose the per-post timing data it needs. Ask without naming one and Ashley covers both, for whichever you have connected.

What's the best time for me to post?

Best time needs your history

This is derived from your posts. With no connected account and no published history there's nothing to compute, and Ashley says exactly that — "connect your social accounts first" — instead of inventing a number.

Hashtag research

Give Ashley a niche and she comes back with three things:

  1. Your proven top performers — hashtags pulled from your real analytics, ranked by average likes. Only tags you've used at least twice count, so one lucky post can't crown a hashtag.
  2. Niche suggestions — grounded in the brand and knowledge entries in your Neural Core, not scraped from a generic list.
  3. The platform's actual limit — Instagram 30, Facebook 10, LinkedIn 5, X 3.

Ask for up to 50; you get 20 by default.

How to get your first numbers

  1. Open the Integrations page from the sidebar.
  2. Connect the accounts you want measured — Instagram, Facebook, X or LinkedIn.
  3. For Instagram, approve the insights permission during the connection flow. Without it there's no reach, no impressions, no per-post data.
  4. Open a conversation with Ashley and ask a question — "how is my Instagram doing?"
  5. If this is the first ask, Ashley pulls a fresh sync in the background and answers from it. Give it a few seconds.
  6. Turn the answer into work in the same chat: "write me three posts for my best hour using my top hashtags."

Freshness — it repairs itself

Your numbers are cached so a question is instant. Ask anything older than 6 hours and Ashley kicks off a live re-sync before answering, waits a few seconds for it, and hands you the fresh data.

If the platform is slow or momentarily unreachable, she gives you the cached number with its timestamp rather than nothing. Every answer carries how fresh it is, so you always know whether you're looking at minutes-old or hours-old data.

Ashley reads. She never touches your inbox.

Analytics are read-only, and Ashley's toolbox is enforced at runtime, not by a prompt she could be talked out of. She cannot open your email — only Maya has that. She cannot generate images herself — she writes the visual brief and Tyron paints it. Boundaries you can't argue an agent out of are the point.

What Ashley won't do

She won't fake it. When a metric genuinely isn't available for your account, she says "unavailable for this account via [Platform] API" — never "I don't have access to that", and never a plausible-looking number. That behaviour is written into how she reports analytics.

Limits worth knowing

  • Per-post metrics = Instagram and Facebook only. X and LinkedIn don't provide them. Top posts and recent-post summaries are refused by design on those two, not silently faked.
  • LinkedIn personal profiles have no analytics. LinkedIn's API doesn't expose them. Only a connected Company Page returns followers, impressions and clicks.
  • Instagram needs a Business or Creator account. Personal Instagram accounts can't be measured — or published to.
  • Instagram insights are a separate permission. If you skipped it at connection time, reconnect and approve it.
  • Facebook Page insights need the page's read-engagement and insights permissions, which come from your Page role. If you're not an admin on the Page, the numbers won't come through.
  • The default window is 30 days for account stats. Recent-post questions can stretch to 90 days.
  • New accounts have thin data. Best time and hashtag rankings need real posts behind them. A handful of posts gives you a weak signal, and the post-count shown next to each hour is there so you can see that for yourself.
  • TikTok and WhatsApp aren't connectable yet, so there's nothing to measure there.

Tips

  • Ask for posting insights before best time. The top-5-hours list shows how many posts sit behind each hour — that's the difference between a real pattern and a coincidence.
  • Chain it. "Show my top 3 posts, then draft two new posts in the same style" is one conversation, not two tools.
  • Hashtag research is most useful after you have 10–20 posts out. Before that, lean on the niche suggestions rather than the "proven" list.
  • If a number looks stale, just ask again — the 6-hour rule means a second ask usually triggers a fresh pull.
  • Ask for published-via-Unyo counts in a recent-posts question to see how much of your output is running through your drafts.

FAQ

Where do these numbers come from?

Directly from each platform's own API, synced into your private analytics cache and computed on your posts alone. Best hour, best day, content-type performance and hashtag rankings are all derived from a 24-hour × 7-day engagement map of your own history. Nothing on this page is an industry benchmark or an average from other users.

Do analytics cost credits?

The analytics tools themselves are 0 credits — account stats, top posts, posting insights, best time and hashtag research are all free reads. You still pay the normal usage cost of the conversation you ask them in, same as any chat with an agent.

Why can't Ashley show my top LinkedIn or X posts?

Because those platforms don't expose per-post metrics through their APIs. Rather than estimate, Ashley refuses those two by design and tells you why. You still get account-level stats on both: followers and growth on X and LinkedIn Company Pages, plus impressions and clicks on Pages.

My Instagram stats are empty — what's wrong?

Three usual causes. Your Instagram account is Personal rather than Business or Creator. You skipped the insights permission when connecting. Or you have too few recent posts for reach and engagement to mean anything. Reconnect from Integrations and approve every permission in the dialog.

How fresh are the numbers?

Anything older than 6 hours triggers an automatic re-sync when you ask, and the answer carries its own timestamp. If a platform is slow to respond, you get the cached number with its age rather than a blank — real and dated beats fresh and absent.

Can I get analytics for an account I haven't connected?

No — and that's the point. Unyo only ever reads accounts you've explicitly connected with OAuth, using the narrowest permissions the job needs. Ashley will tell you the platform isn't connected and point you to Integrations.

Troubleshooting

"Not connected" — the platform has no active connection. Open Integrations from the sidebar and connect it. This message also appears if a token expired; disconnect and reconnect to fix it.

"No analytics data available" — you're connected but there's nothing to compute from yet. Publish a few posts and come back.

Numbers look frozen — ask again. The cache refreshes on demand past 6 hours; the first ask after a long gap does the syncing, the second one shows the result.

Reach and impressions missing on Instagram, everything else fine — the insights permission wasn't granted. Reconnect Instagram and approve the full permission set.

Facebook followers show but insights don't — your Page role probably doesn't include insights access. Check your admin rights on the Page itself, then reconnect.
